Sapient Real Estate Consulting was founded in 2004 by Dr. John Tofflemire. Dr. Tofflemire, who received a Ph.D. in Regional Science from the University of Pennsylvania in 1992, was Director of Research and Consulting at CB Richard Ellis Japan in Tokyo prior to establishing Sapient. Dr. Tofflemire has worked in the Japanese real estate market since 1996 and has lived and worked in Japan since 1992.
